Hi

I got an android unit being installed and I need to get the reverse wire/signal to activate the reverse camera.

Searching through the Forurm, I only got this one, but its for a 2012 model

Can anyone confirm if the they used the same set up on the third gen Santa Fe?

Thanks in advance

So, according to the diagram, the reverse signal is the white wire on terminal 16 of connector 'A' located on the front of the dashboard fusebox
Actually, it might already be on the radio connector. Look for a red/black wire, then check that it has +12V when reverse gear is selected (with the ignition on). I originally thought it was only there on navigation head units. But looking more closely at the diagram it seems there is a reverse signal supplied to all the factory radios. That should save you a bit of faffing about at the fusebox.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated

Ibanezbass671....I have an identical set up, down to the radio apparently, I'm trying to enable my OEM backup camera as well...how did you find the Reverse Trigger wire in the Factory radio harness? I just bought a retention harness to plug the camera harness in the car into my new touch screen...any help on how you accomplished this will be appreciated...thanks!

Same here. Bought an Android head unit for 2015 Santa Fe. Unit works fine except for the reverse camera. I want to keep the factory camera, so I purchased a harness but still no luck. If I understand correctly, using that harness should enable me to avoid finding the reverse wire at the fusebox etc. Any insights appreciated.
