I need to replace my wipers. There was an older thread about keeping the factory arms and just replacing the rubber inserts on the arm with Lexus/Toyota parts. That thread was about 4 years old. Below are quotes from that post along with part numbers . Are you guys and girls still doing that today?

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a pair from eBay....

I wonder if Hyundai just sells the rubber as well.

I've been using mine for a year, in the Florida wetlands, and haven't had an issue... They still work pretty well actually.
Guess i'll just be proactive and replace....... Thanks.
These are the same as the ones you'll be replacing (2015 Sonata).

I think I saw that Hyundai actually sells refills, so, they are serviceable.

I still replace just the rubber inserts.
Did it with my previous Toyota and 4 Hondas over the decades.
Costs a lot less and I don't have to wonder which of the aftermarket assemblies work as well as the originals.
I made a career of working with small, intricate (electronic) devices, so there's also an element of satisfaction with the job.

Updating .Went to a Lexus dealer and bought the wiper inserts which are a perfect fit and MUCH cheaper than buying the entire arm. Below are the part numbers that Itchiee provided a while ago. Thanks Itchiee!! Price was $10.99 each.
