Where to put EZ Pass

Hello Everyone,

Been reading this forum for months and it helped me decide to get a new 2013 Silver Elantra Limited w/Tech pkg. I took possession yesterday.

Can anyone tell me if it's OK to put my PA EZ Pass transponder to the right of the Bluetooth (and behind the rear view mirror) on the windshield? Will the Bluetooth interfere with it? It would be the 'dot' area.

I don't want to put it where it sticks out like a sore thumb, but, of course, I need it to work correctly.

Welcome to the forum.....

I have my EZ Pass transponder on the right side (passenger side) behind the mirror. No interference from BT and works like normal with the tolls and EZ Pass "fast lanes"

The PA Turnpike and other smaller toll roads in the state.

My TXtag was a big rfid sticker and I had it stuck on the center of the windshield directly under the rearview mirror.

I hid it (from driver's point of view) "behind" the rear view mirror.

*warning* may look ugly from passenger side or outside

some people have reported EZ pass working fine if they stuck it up against the moon roof for aesthetical purposes.

ah how i wish the whole country had only 1 electronic toll program...

if you have time, try to hide it as much as possible, and stick it up there with one hand (this is what i did but for disclaimer, do it at your own risk) and see if it works wherever you were holding it up to. then if it doesnt go through, you can pull over and take care of it but as long as it can see the sky it'll work
