I did see that when I was searching around, but I couldn't figure out what pressure he's applying at 0:12 to "just push it right out" like he says. Appreciate any other specific guidance on where to pry to get it off, and I'll keep messing with it.

Look at around 0:16 in the video.

You can see there is a round bar on the replacement wiper and the arm somewhat snaps over the bar to attach the wiper to the arm.

On the Focus, rather than lifting the arm and blade off the glass, I found it easier to leave the arm in the normal position, insert the nylon tool between the arm and the blade and gently pry the arm from the blade using the tool. Then raise the arm to snap the new blade into place.

I'm assuming the Santa Fe is similar to the Focus, but I'm not sure of that.

 

Tiger-Heli is correct, it's funny because I just happened to take it apart 2 weeks ago just to see how hard it was and all you need is some elbow grease and it should pop it right off. Will be replacing mine in the Spring towards the 3 year mark
