Anybody have any sort of wiring diagram for the plug to our headlights? I'm going to be opening them up and doing some work but have no idea which wires are which. The ones I'm looking for specifically are the DRL and turn signal. Thanks in advance for any help!

I googled this recently as well. I did find it but took a while of searching. The drivers side and passenger side actually have different turn signal wire colors.

It's two completely different circuits so you'd expect them to have different coloured wires. But the wire will be in the same position on the connector of each headlamp so the colour of the wire isn't really important.

So here is what I have. Found the turn signal pretty easily because my test lamp flashes on and off when I touch the pin. Still having trouble finding DRL because multiple pins light up my test lamp when I touch them.

DRLs will have power when the headlamp switch is off and the engine is running but the power to the DRLs should switch off when the engine is running and the headlamps are switched on. See which of the pins follows that logic and that will be the DRL.

Yes the fog light switch still turns off the fog lights.

Basically the factory wiring has the fog light relay being grounded only when the low beams are on.

When you ground the wire to the body then the ground is there all the time. The fog light switch then switches this ground on and off.

It's really simple and you only need a short piece of small gauge wire and a couple crimp connectors, one a butt splice barrel and the other a 1/4" ring terminal..
