Bought my car 3 weeks ago and my back is KILLING me!... I get out of the car walking around like an old lady till I get the kinks worked out.

In reading thru the different years, seat comfort or lack thereof seem to be an issue, and sadly for me, continues to be such.

Has anyone found a suitable solution and if so, would you mind sharing? It's a sad state of affairs when you spend 1000's on a car and have to spend a few hundred more so you're not cying out in pain at the end of the driving day.

I'm considering the CONFORMAX "COCOON OF COMFORT" GEL CAR CUSHION COMBO SET, but thought I'd check here first in case there's something better out there I've missed.

Thanks!

I have been adjusting the seat up, down, closer, further, lumbar straighter, more reclined, as well as playing with the steering wheel position. I don't even think a teleschopic steering wheel would help... Costco has "super dense 100% genuine Australian Merino sheepskin" seat covers which I should have by the end of the week. I'm hoping the added padding will do the trick.

Thanks for weighing in, guys.

I have a 2015 gls and the seats really suck - worse I have ever had, I have tried 6 different seat cushions / padding and all seem to help a bit - this is the best I have found so far - helps with the back support - looks bad but works and yes I like to gamble lol
Well don't tease me and not tell me where I can get it! :D

So far the sheepskin and gel cushions have failed to do the trick and I feel like Monty Python in search of the Holy Grail. I read recently that the seats in many of the newer cars simply suck! Are they even using springs in them any more or is it all dense padding with no give?

I bit the bullet and had my seat recushioned today... 1/2" thick memory foam added to the seat, and 2" to the back with an extra 1/2" lumbar build up. The difference is fantastic! The whole ride is different as the memory foam absorbs and distributes some of the road vibration and I actually have support now. The owner of the upholstery shop couldn't believe the crap they used. $450, but a small price to pay for comfort.

Now... I wonder if I can swap out the steering for telescopic? Why they didn't include that in the SE w/ options package instead of the sliding armrest is beyond me.
