I just received an email from the Service Department at the dealership where I purchased my Sonata last month. In the email they state the following "Please schedule your first service with us at 3750 miles or 4 months, whichever comes first" with out saying why they want me to schedule it or what they intend to do. My manual calls for the first service at 7500 miles.
Is this typical of other dealers and if so what will they do and what do they charge?
