Blue Link Not Connecting

I need to reset my blue link every other day. Keeps losing connection. Updated app, start car manually at least every other day. Same location every time. Anyone else with the same issue?

Not sure what you mean by updating the head unit to the latest software.

I reset the head unit. I've done it almost 10 times now.

Parked in a garage. Never had the problem before. Same thing happens outdoor.

Works fine today. If I don't start the car tomorrow it probably won't work the next day.

Couple things could be going on here.

Next time BluLink fails to work, before you reset the radio , go into settings, then BluLink, then I think status. It should show some provisioning info.

If the numbers are all zeros, that's a cellular provisioning issue. It's possible that this is an issue with the stereo itself, OR it could be the cell tower in your area. Yes, a malfunctioning tower can cause connected devices to lose this info. Unfortunately that's just a matter of waiting for Sprint to figure it out and fix it. I'd give it 2 weeks before taking it to a dealer.

If you go into the settings and the numbers are not showing as all zeros, that could be a battery issue causing the car to shut off the cellular radios prematurely. Get your battery tested if that's the case.

So this response may not be directly related to your issue but I wanted to come on a couple forums for anyone googling issues with not being able to activate their Hyundai BlueLink. I would double check to make sure that the previous owner if their was one did not put an after market remote starter in the car as that can be interfering with it. I unplugged the wire for mine via the advice from the hyundai dealership for a totally separate issue I was having (my daytime running lights and tail lights wouldn’t turn off) and voila! My BlueLink activated! Just wanted to share that in case it might help someone else going through what I went through!
