I loved all the exterior and interior lighting on my 2020 Limited ......except one, the rear cargo light

It was still a standard bulb so I popped down to my local store 2 days after I got the vehicle and found a bright LED version that fit the holder.... problem solved.

Good plan. I’d prefer warmer LED lighting in the interior. I find the cool daylight LED temp to be too glaring.
Not for these old eyes, the brighter the better o_O

The bulb was made by Sylvania, "ZEVO" "Super Bright" 6000K brightness LED #6418, package also marked to fit 6461, with Lifetime warranty. It was abou $11. with tax from Autozone. There are others cheaper but not as bright and I liked the lifetime warranty with it as I use the cargo area quite a bit in my work.

I just bought a 2019 CPO SF Ultimate and thought the same thing about the cargo light. This bulb you bought just pops right in where the old one was? Nothing else to do or add? Thanks.
Yes, it does, just snap the lense off, pop out the old bulb and pop in the new, put lense back on... there was a youtube video on getting the lense off. Even though it was from 2012 it is the same fixture as in my 2020 Santa Fe. It shows the proper spot to pry the lense off without cracking anything.

I got lucky because most LEDs are polarity sensitive and put mine in the right way the first time, if it doesn't work, just reverse the bulb.

Thanks for posting the correct size numbers. The only thing the manual offers is FESTOON for size. I ordered in a bunch of 6000K bulbs for my SEL that came with the old-timey yellowish lights. The higher Kelvin color does make it easier for our old eyes to see. I've been replacing all the miserable "warm white" 2700-3000K lights in our house with 5000K LED. My wife is very happy with me for that.
And the house lights are typically dimmable as well when you want softer lighting. Even utility room and garage fluorescent lights were change to dimmable LEDs. I happen to be a retired communications electrician so easy for me to do "some magic". Our next step is to replace all the under counter and over cabinet kitchen lighting with multi colored, remote controlled LED strips, to really set a mood for parties, etc.
