What a fantastic comment. I need to party with you, Zak!
I did something similar several years ago while standing inside a retail store yet periodically checking on the car through the plate glass front window. As luck would have it, two old ladies had parked near me and I just happened to see them returning to leave.
I watched as they approached the car. I hit the lock button on the fob twice to chirp the horn. As the lady on the passenger side approached the door handle of their car, well, "chirp-chirp" went the horn. She was startled a bit, turned, looked at the car, sort of gazing into the tinted windows, and wham-o, I hit it again. She abruptly turned 180 degrees and commenced to open her door in a flash. "Chirp-chirp," again to speed her entry. She darted into that passenger side in seconds, the car backed out and sped away like it had seen a ghost. No door dings. The car's honor had been defended.
Best time I've had at someone else's expense in a while. I need to do that again, sometime. Great fun!
