Hello,

I am trying to remove the speedo cable (looks like this is a regular cable speedo cable). Not digital.. Anyways I took off the 10mm bolt but I cannot take the cable off I was tapping it a bit and it moved to one side maybe 1/8" of an inch but I left it at that.

I am replacing the auto trans and thats why I am removing it.

1st of all where did you find a auto trans for a 2nd gen Accent and how much you pay? the cable screws onto the sensor, 2 part system. Twist it off with your hand. Carefull when you put it back, it has a key way like a handcuff key.
