One thing I will say about the whip type: came from shark fin on old Elantra to whip on current car, and although it looks dorkier, I do get better XM reception without all the cutting out. Even works in tunnels, whereas the Elantra always cut out in tunnels and even under overpasses.

Dislike: White dealer decal. I know that's not your fault, though. I hate when dealers put those on cars. I notice it's not as common here in anti-corporate Portland, lol. I even took the dealer license plate frames off my car. I like my dealership, but don't want to be a driving advertisement.

Thanks EM2! I hate that dealer decal too. I need to take that off.

 

The first time I washed my car I took my dealer decal off. It was a PITA, but I got it all off and the back-end looks much better. Next is to debadge it, but I ran out of time last week to do that. Car looks great E. I had an '04 Elantra GT in Tidal Wave Blue, and loved the color.

 

Looking good, the trees and autumn colours are nice too.

I like the misty green and volcanic red as well as my Monaco white. Actually, the GT looks good in all the colours. I think they should have also made them in yellow, orange, lime green and everything in between as we'll. The one downfall is no flashy colours, not that I would have chosen one.

 

I totally agree. I'm all for the bold colors. As much as I hate to admit it, the Ford Fiesta comes in some good colors, such as that magenta color and lime green. Accent also comes in lime green.
