Hi all. I'm new to the forum. I'm sure this has been asked before.

I have a 2010 ix35, I've just installed an xtrons nav unit.
Xtrons say that the unit does not support the factory reverse camera.
Is there a way to link it up? When I put the car in reverse the lines come up and the beeper starts beeping and on the screen there is a yellow warning exclamation mark.

Any help much appreciated

Thanks. I took your advice and got one, supposedly for my year and model, but the pins on the connector are in the wrong location.
It seems that the pins can be repositioned so I was thinking of attempting that. But I am struggling to find an accurate diagram for the 24pin connector.

The new harness has only a few cables in it and the car has many.

It has a reverse signal which I'm assuming is the live in, and a ground wire.
There is also the RCA and a yellow wire which I'm assuming is the camera feed.
But it has a device which I'm assuming is a voltage reducer as it has a separate brown and blue wire that come back to the harness.
Any help appreciated

I think the connector pinout I've attached below is accurate. The wires on your connector certainly seem to match anyway.

The factory camera works on a 6V power supply, hence the dropper box attached to the harness. When you supply 12V to the reverse signal input the box will output 6V to the camera. You'll need to connect 12V across the reverse and ground wires then use a voltmeter to figure out which of the output wires on the connector is the +6V supply and which is ground/earth. Once you figure that out move the pins to the correct locations as shown in the pinout diagram below.

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated
