Radio, Clock, and USB Not Working

I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS and the other day I had replaced my door wiring harness on my driver side door because of my window no longer working, but while trying to disconnect the harness from the body of the vehicle, the radio randomly had cut off. I plugged in the new harness and connected everything and it seemed like everything should be good since my window now lets up and down after spending so much money on other pieces. However, my radio still did not work. Then I noticed that the clock and usb was also non operational. Everything else in the car works and the radio even has the blue glow in the buttons. Please Help!

Sound like you've blown a fuse.
Check the two fuses in the yellow carrier on the dash board fusebox. Usually one of those powers the clock and the radio...and probably the door marker lamps too.

I know this advise is getting to you a bit too late, but it's always a good idea to disconnect the battery negative terminal when your doing work on the electrics.

On top of the fuses there should be two little metal tabs. Take your voltmeter and touch the red probe to the metal tabs on top of each fuse. If the fuse is good you will get the same voltage on each tab. If you get different voltages on each, the fuse is blown.

If those two fuses are OK, check all the others. It only takes a few minutes to go through them all with the meter rather than having to pull them all out and look.

If all fuses are good, but still, radio isn't working, I would disconnect battery for 30-minutes and reconnect to do a "reset" of sorts and see if that helps. Otherwise, start following the wiring to see if some other connector got pulled/damaged.

As @AUTOSPARK suggested, check the fuses first. pulling the battery wouldn't do anything if a fuse is bad.

If you have a Harbor Freight near you, snag a coupon and pick one up, they can be pretty cheap. Depending on the ad, you could even get a free one with any other purchase.

I tried disconnecting the battery for an hour and it did not work...
No surprise there then.

Now, what if I do the battery thing and check the fuses and it doesn’t work?
Not much point in worrying about that at this point when it's probably just a blown fuse.

Go buy a multimeter.
Set it up to measure DC Volts.
Connect the black probe to a good ground (a clean metal part that's bolted to the car body).
Turn the ignition on then spend a few minutes probing all the fuses.
Start with the ones on the dashboard fusebox and if you don't find one with different voltages there, move on to the engine bay fusebox.

If you don't find any fuses with different voltages on each side, you have my permission to panic :surprise:

I recently today noticed my clock was gone as well from the Home screen. I have been using my Android Auto the last few days instead of bluetooth and thought that screwed it up because my setup was locked on GPS time. Could not switch it to Daylight Savings. I read your comments and did this and it worked!!!..... while car was running, pulled out SD card for 30 secs.. put it back in while car running abd let it reset itself and BOOM! All good!!!
