2010 Santa Fe Limited 3.5L Auto AWD. Approximately 150k miles.
Check engine light just came on. Wondering if there is a way to pull the code(s) without a scanner? I obviously don't have one and the nearest parts place is 30 minutes away.
I was able to do so on some other OBD II vehicles I've owned (ex: 2003 Ram truck) with various key and instrument panel button manipulations. The codes would show in the digital odometer display.
Is there some way to do this on my Santa Fe without the scanner? Gonna take it to town tomorrow to check, but curiosity is getting the better of me today.
