A nice little toy you have got there, I like it.
Hard to believe how far Hyundai have come in such a short time.
I can still remember when they made millons of those cockroach looking Excell's.
They were so cheap that everybody had one hidden somewhere.
Now there is none of them around because I think they all just disintegrated after five years.
When I was a kid I remember Hyundai’s and Kia’s being the absolute worst of the worst. No one even wanted to rent them despite being incredibly cheap. They’re definitely not what they used to be that’s for sure. I used to always talk down about Hyundai until I gave my ‘16 Sonata a chance.

Nice looking car, tell us about the driving experience w the 1.6L turbo motor.
It has been pretty great in my opinion. I used to drive the 2018 Honda Accord before. I do feel the Honda drives better overall. But I feel the sonata is quieter and smoother cabin to be in at high speeds. Also I feel like it's easier in the sonata to cruise highways at high speeds than in the accord. I still wish the steering feel in the sonata was much more responsive and tighter. ?

Happy New Year all!!.... Off to rainy start here in upstate NY.
2.8k miles on odometer.
Issues faced till now : 1.
Severity of issue: minor.

I really like how the Hampton Gray looks in the daylight. I’m torn between gray and red. Would you happen to know the difference between Hampton gray and Portofino Gray?

All in all it looks great! Congrats!

Nice car and color, too bad you are required to have a license plate on front of your Sonata. I'm lucky to live in a state that doesn't require it!

It's a snowy day today in Albany NY. My temp registration expires today and my dealer doesn't have the new plates yet. ?

What date did you buy the car?

I got mine 12/6/19 and my temp plates are good until 1/20/20.

Looks great....Any problems with it?
Looking to pick up one when my lease expires in NJ
I'll be honest. After 4k on the odometer I feel I am missing something while driving it. I used to drive a 2018 Honda Accord and I loved how it drove. I am not an enthusiast so can't explain it technically. I love having a lotta torque and tight steering and i feel the new Sonata isn't as satisfying in that. Also it didn't help that drove the new 2019 Volvo S60 with T6 engine as my daily driver for 2 weeks?.
I do love the almost luxury feel in the sonata, and no issues as of now. But if u prefer more power just wait for the N line. I guess I'll exchange this once the Kia Optima GT comes out next year.

4100 on the Odometer and no major issues as of now. I just feel the Bluetooth pairing between my android phone and the car is a hit n miss during calls.

Finally some license plates. How does the tech work? My wife's 2019 santa fe has outstanding infotech, much better than my 2019 honda crv-indeed so much better that I am thinking of going back to hyundai sooner than planned.
