Seriously, who would think that Pacific Blue Pearl would be 95% black and Indigo Night would be a briliant deep blue? I'm totally confused as to why a color named "Night" would be lighter and brighter than a color called "Pacific".

Anyone else think that these got mislabled??

Pacific Blue Pearl should have been called Pacific Green Pearl as the one I saw on the lot when I bought my car was a very dark green.

Indigo Night is half wrong, it should be Indigo Day. My car is the same color, but it is a 2011 and then it was called Indigo Blue Pearl which, to me, is a much better description of the color. In the bright sun the car has a definite purple hue and at night (and on a cloudy day) it looks dark blue.

indigo
— n , pl -gos , -goes
1. Also called: indigotin a blue vat dye originally obtained from plants but now made synthetically
2. Compare wild indigo any of various tropical plants of the leguminous genus Indigofera, such as the anil, that yield this dye
3. a. any of a group of colors that have the same blue-violet hue; a spectral color
b. ( as adjective ): an indigo carpet

there isnt even a hint of green in my paint. it is pretty much a blend of blue and charcoal really.
I preferred the Pacific pearl, because it is metallic and I am a big fan of Navy blue. The lot only had red, black and pacific though. If I couild have chose any color it would likely have been pearl white. Some days i wish i would have did black, but overall i am happy.

I likely would have bough the v. red, but didnt like the material on the beige seats at all.

Really? You prefer the dark, almost black, blue? I and my girlfriend, who wants this color, like the lighter Indigo Night. It's a shame it doesn't come with the Camel beige interior.

I just lost a lot of respect for you right off the bat. You want the vibrant color with the beige interior? C'mon man.

(joking)

go with what makes you happy!

im a pacific fan. Im on my 2012 now after my 2011 was wrecked. Both are pacific blue pearl with grey leather interior. I get a lot of complements on the color. Btw I think the paints that have the word pearl at the end is referring to that it is Pearlescent paint, a three stage paint job as opposed to a regular pain job. IE the pacific blue the iridescent silver, venetian red pearl black onyx pearl, porcelain white pearl. If you put the pearl versions next to the non pearl versions you can rally see the difference.(a few of colors listed are only on hybrid models)

This is a change for 2012. Indigo with camel was available on the 2011 models. Perhaps there is a 2011 "leftover" out there with this combination you could purchase.

I initially wanted the Indigo, but the dealer had it side-by-side with the Pacific Blue and I immediately liked the Pacific Blue better.

I whent in to buy a shimmering white se yesterday and noticed that it is no longer pearly like the older white pearl. Right next to it was a pacific blue se which totally confused me because it looked so nice. Now I cant decide between gray or pb
man, that stinks....why replace pearl white with plain old white?

I would def get the Pacific Blue over the grey. Both are nice, but the PBP is a unique color.
