I figured I would start a thread about my autocross endeavors, to keep track of mods I have done along the way and so people (and I) can track my progress.

I typically run with the Capital Driving Club. In the results that I post, the Raw time is my actual time that was recorded. However, season points are awarded on my Indexed time. Its a point multiplier system for my club based on weight, hp, and treadwear rating. I am not going to get into explaining it (if you are at all interested: Here is an explanation) mine is a 0.9999, so when my time is multiplied I drop a few hundreths of a second. oh joy.
We are not classed at all like SCCA, all championship points are based on the Index times. But there is also the Small Bore Series. I typically get my arse kicked by a bunch of miatas here. These are usually listed at the bottom of the results.
At this point I need to go back a few months to last November.
This was my first autocross with the Accent. I kind of had no idea what to do with a FWD car, my last car I ran for a few events was a freakin Grand Marquis, and I had a Miata for a few years before that.
I had the rear seats still installed but folded down, with the spare tire, jack, and such removed. 15" Dunlop Direzza DZ101 tires installed all around. I tried 38psi front, 42 rear for my morning runs, afternoon runs i dropped the front tires to 36psi. The car understeered more than I was used to. I still had a lot of learning to do about setup and handling the car on course. I do not remember when I got my fastest time throughout the day, this was a few months ago.
My Raw time was a 41.91.

Someone snagged a photo of me on course
standby for an update on the first 2 events of this year...
