• Vehicle history can be good. How many miles. If not bought new, how many have you put on it.
• Describe the problem best you can. If a noise can you get a sound or video file
• Tell us what has been done, if anything, thus far. If tests have been performed give actual results not OK or passed. If scanned for codes the actual code(s) not O2 sensor or MAF, Etc.
• If the vehicle has been to a repair facility it would be nice if you could post a picture of that invoice/bill
• If your vehicle is under warranty you should have the dealer check it out. If it's a problem they see many times they will generate a safety recall of TSB. This is how they know of the problem.

next in line is to change the oil pump then rebuild the engine. Better to give them the car back and get the money.

I have a Getz 1.1 67hp (1086 ccm) from 2008. I bought her second hand 1 previous owner. Got 3 months guarantee from the mechanic who sold the car on behalf of previous owner. So I can go and get **** fixed if smth is amiss within the first 3 months. Which is cool. 3 weeks ago I noticed the oil lamp flickering almost unnoticably when in idle and the engine was warmed up. I took it to the mechanic last week and they changed the oil switch. After that the light is now constantly on in idle. They then changed the oil to see if that would help. It seemed to help and I drove off. Then it came on again just as I got home...
I then took it back and they then changed the oilfilter and checked the oil pressure. Things seemed fine and I got my car back and lo and behold the light came on again...they are now out of ideas and I turned to google to search for answers.
Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it ?

Oil lamp comes on only in idle or when rpm is below 1500! The moment I press the speeder it turns off again.

Need to find out what the actual pressure is.

Quick question...I don't see anywhere in the profile information where I can fill in my car info? Or did you mean to fill in my car info in the post?

 

i would guess it's the rod bearings on the piston connecting rods. You can try a heavier oil. 10w30 or so.

 

More than likely the engine needs to be torn down. I would want to know what the cold and hot pressures are first.
I would strongly suggest you get your money back.
