Can you help me please. Need an opinion. Replaced the fuel pump on the getz because it was dead. Now it still wont start. It cranks but doesn't start, if you spray fuel in the throttle body it will fire up but stall once you stop. Fuel is getting up to the the fuel rail. Spark plugs are working. Checked for injector pulse with a node light. It has a pulse. The immobiliser seems to be working cause you get the light on the dash come on when you turn the ignition on, then it goes out whilst cranking. There weren't any fault codes when scanned it. Have checked all the fuses in the engine bay and interior fuse boxes. Replaced the crank angle sensor. Still no luck. Andrew

Got to see if there is enough fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

Sometimes when someone changes the fuel pump,
they miss an O-ring and the fuel pressure just doesn't make it

Meaning is that one will see fuel come out to the fuel rail
but there isn't enough pressure for the system to work properly

Good luck
