I went on a short roadtrip from Houston to Lubbock Tx, it was almost 1200 miles, I manage to average 24 MPG according to my GPS my average speed was 82 MPH my top speed was 101 MPH. I guess driving the car in a fun way and getting 24 MPG on the HWY is not too bad.

Just finished a one-way 1900 mile trip from San Antonio, TX to NY with my 3.3L. I averaged 27.5 mpg cruising at around 75mph the entire way. That was mostly over highway though, once I got up here in NY with all the hills and small roads of the hudson valley, I am now pulling 25.6mpg. Not bad though, considering my previous accord 2.3L 4cyl. would average 27-29 mpg in mixed driving.

I know with my 09 Limited V6, I will get 20 MPG on a good average of city/highway, mainly city. When we get out on the highway going about 70 MPG w/ a mix of city in there also, it will get around 24-25. We took a full highway trip & got 28 MPG on it when the car was brand new!! It just rolled 8,500 miles as of now. I didn't think it was getting too bad though!

2008 V6 with barely 4,000 miles.

50-mile freeway trip recently, 65-70 mph, reset computer upon entering freeway. Indicated 35-37 MPG until the very end as I slowed, for about a mile, to 60 whereupon it was indicating 40 MPG. Nice even traffic flow; no speeding up/slowing down, cruise control on most of the time. Filled up just before entering freeway and again after leaving it. With the mile or two of city streets before entring and five miles of country low-speed road before the gas station, actual consumption vs. miles worked out to about 38 MPG.

Around town - different matter. 15-19 MPG consistently.
