My turbo just went a little over 29k. Its a 2011 model.

I think somebody has mentioned rolling 100,000 on their 2011, I'm sure they will chime in.

As for me, 33,222.

 

Just turned 12k in 16 months.

 

2011 with 46,000 miles. Still going strong, only a few recalls/repairs. No big deal!

 

2011. 47k miles

 

Although I only have 10K on my '13, it has not had any issues, problems, or defects. At that mileage my 2011 GLS had already been in the shop several times under warranty. It had the dim radio display, sticky mirror position switch, and smelly HVAC system. I mention this because it appears Hyundai has been improving on the Sonata's issues.

 

My 2011 hasn't had many issues. Since I bought it, just the brake light switch recall. An HVAC issue where it blew only hot air.

 

7000 kms so far.. which is... 3k miles i think

 

2012 purchased May of 2013. 36,xxx miles and starting to have a lot of problem. Mostly electrical/computer.

 

Isn't electrical only covered under the 3 year / 36K part of Hyundai's warranty? Hope you bought the extended warranty.

 

2011 SE 2.0T. Bought in Feb 2011. Just turned 17,700

 

2012 27K miles
no issues except the temp oil sensor in transmission

 

I wanted to bring this thread back to life. Anyone with over 150k miles on their 2.0?

 

I'm currently at 274,000 Km / 170,000 miles , just had the engine replaced top / bottom. Same Turbo and tranny.

Issues outstanding.

- Stabilizer bar rattle
- A/C Doesn't hold charge.
- P0711 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
- P0449 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Valve / Solenoid Circuit
- Backup Camera works randomly.
- Passenger Seat rattles/vibrates
- Deep low thud sound coming from rear over bumps. (sounds like a taxi cab with a million miles on it lol)

 

I'm at 123k. Turbo replaced at 98k (only main issue).

 

I'm approaching 45K.

On the plus side the local Toyota dealer mailed me a first month's voucher, up to 500 clams, and a trade in voucher, up to 8,760 simoleons, if I act withen seven days.

The clock is tickin', eh?

 

2011 with 46k miles

 

Last winter the oem battery bit the dust.

About this time last year before the 5 yr warranty was kaput I had the little rubber steering washer replaced. I noticed the slack 'round the mid-high 20K. One must pull a ton of junk off the dash/steering for that little spacer.

I just replaced the rubber at 44K a couple of months ago.

My first radio preset button is stuck again.

Even though I'm the only driver there's a 1" spot on outside of me seat where the leather wishes to seperate at the seam.

Other than that gas, oil & filters. I'll probably need to change windshield wipers before long.

 

84,000 miles now. Only issues have been HPFP replacement at 75k and turbo oil feed line replacement at 82k. Steering coupler was done under warranty when I first got the car. Still runs strong and gets great mileage!

 

I just turned 70,000 just recalls and regular maintenance doin very well..

 

I'm right at 94k miles on my 2013. So far no leaks and it runs great.

 

I actually got a lifetime power train warranty on mine when I bought it used. I have my doubts if it will be worth a **** but maybe someday I'll get to find out.

 

I'm at 57K now and NO issues, leaks or problems. I do occasional Blackstone Labs reports to see how my oil is doing (M1 0W-40 Euro).

Running LAP3 Uncle chip (93 setting), HKS plugs, and catch can for past 65K miles. Still fast as ****! Just finished 900 miles this weekend with many high speed runs down 81 in Virginia.

Thats excellent,do you mind sharing maintenance practices such as brand of oil,oil change interval? Trans fluid was changed? I was on 81 in Va. and did not see you......:smile:

 

128K regular maintenance and recalls.
3rd set of tires and brake pads.Radiator flushed.
Nothing else.
Still pulls quite well (with Uncle Chip).

 

2011 Sonata Limited 2.0T - 167K with LAP3 Uncle chip on original motor and turbo. Replaced fuel tank pump, EWG, crank sensor, multiple O2 sensors. Synthetic from day one and been running Rotella 5w-40 for past 60K with LAP3 chip.
