Hi I recently purchased a 2022 Sante Fe and found out that unfortunately there is no ipod integration or mode on the radio nor an aux port. I have a Samsung Galaxy s21 so cannot transfer music to an iphone and play via car play. I have tried numerous ways to add a Bluetooth receiver to the iPod to try and link with the radio but it asks for a passcode and the receiver has no screen. The FM receiver I tried could not get an open station in my home area. I tried adding the music to a USB drive but it is such a time consuming process and my music has both mp3 format and the iPod format so it's been difficult to convert and transfer to a USB. Is there a simpler way than to buy an iphone to act as an iPod? Can I upload my music to a cloud service that Android Auto can access ? Don't know why they couldn't add the iPod connection in the vehicle. I have it on my 2013 Tuscon. This is the only feature so far that bothers me with this vehicle. I moved from a 2018 GMC Terrain that had every USB port iPod capable. Thanks.

The easiest way is probably to subscribe to Apple Music and sync your ipod to the Apple Music cloud. Then you can get the Apple Music player for your Samsung and not carry around your ipod. But I'm not sure of the cost involved. You CAN transfer your ipod music files to your android phone (for free). See links below for options. Anything that makes your music accessible on your Samsung will then be usable through Android Auto and much more user friendly than fiddling with your iPod while driving :)
