I10 2014 maintenance

Hi,

I have a 2014 i10 automatic, with 29k miles on it.

I have changed oil and engine filter and did underbody conservation.

I wonder what else could I check/replace to be safe?

Should I ask my mechanic to check some belts etc.?

thanks
A good shop will do at least a quick check any time the car is serviced. The manual, if you have it will list items to be checked periodically. Your mechanic already know what he should be checking but ask him to be sure.
Belts, tires, brakes, filters, wipers, lights, fluid levels are the most common.

They don't do it because they like you, it is an opportunity to make money if a repair is needed.

EdP issue is... these so called (quick lube Shops) are so.. under stafed & trained they hire people that really don't have any kind of minimum back ground around vehicles as far as simple matenance / or minor repaire in a vehicle environment as far as im concerned. instead many shop's will hire & re-name these people as (quick lube technitions) from the get go. lol. wich many are not. because many of these young people were realy never brought up around or working on Cars to repaire one or do any kind of work or mantenance on cars.

(not saying ...all) but many are so.. out of touch with reality or vehicles they really dont care on takeing any kind of time effort pride in doing any kind of good work anymore. let alone doing a proper OCI or check/inspection. if you ask me these people have no business working around or under Your Vehicle You Work Hard For (Its Your Pride & Joy) again the truth is many dont care or

even bother with something as You mentioned that could take 15 seconds on a eye catching OCI visual inspection. that could potentially become an issue in the future for a customer driving that very vehicle that was in the care of that shop or Dealer.
That is a good reason not to use them. In my case, I'm retired and have the time but my dealer is cheaper that the quick lube shop and does some checking
