Hyundai Trajet 2001: Oil Lamp, Engine Clacking, and Suspension Squeaks?

Hi my name is Clint and I live in Fremantle WA. I have just recently purchased a second hand 2001 Hyundai Trajet. I am currently having issues with the car - 1- oil lamp warning coming on and now the engine has a clacking sound like the tappets are stuffed? 2- weird squeaking noises coming from the back suspension area? ?

Any info about the Trajet will be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum. I don't know anything about the Trajet, but an oil light (lamp) coming on is a usually a very serious warning. Have you checked your oil level on the oil dip stick? Low oil or low oil pressure can quickly lead to serious engine damage.

Yes, checked the dipstick and was at the full level not sure why it's stays on ? will place on the Trajet Forum and hope to get a quick reply
