This a placeholder, for the people that might not follow all the threads.

It was reported by one owner that they went to to their car a day or so ago, and the interface was different. Instead of the legacy radio there was the 'Nixie' Tube radio design. Swore no one did a USB update.

So there is speculation that Hyundai may be dabbling in OTA (Over The Air, or Off The Air) updates like Tesla and Ford do. So far, it's been only one that confirm it.

If anyone sees that their NAV or Infotainment versions have updated, please post here.
Might be worth it to take a phone screenshot of your info screen that shows the SW levels (as some changes might not change the interface) and check it every so often.

Cheers and crossing our fingers that we are entering the 21's century!

What is done when you download the Map, Firmware, Display Drivers, GUI Changes, button changes (like when they added the option to swap the volume and channel knob, etc, etc, etc. Just about everything that the head unit controls including the electronic dash board.

The 18Gig of stuff you download the last time you did the update yourself. But now, they don't have to push the entire 18 gig, they can just push out stuff to fix or update individual problems or add features. Or provide up to date maps more frequently.

I can continue if you want.
