Dear I am confused about which i10 you are talking about, means i10 or Grand i10. But here I want to inform my friends that one of my colleague ordered Hyundai Xcent. Now you all might be confused about in the post of i10, why I am mentioning Xcent (a sedan). The reason for this is, Hyundai Xcent is just Hyundai Grand i10 with just one extra feature that is a boot. Actually I too was amazed to hear that. But after reading deeply about it, I found that Hyundai was just planning to present its hatchback in a sedan format. My friend had booked the car and it will be delivered within 3-4 months.
Now I want to draw our attention towards this car. Xcent is having similar exterior as well as interior as that of Grand i10. The boot provided to this car is biggest in the sedan segment with 407 ltr capacity.

I ordered my Premium 1.2 stardust grey, rear parking sensors, cruise control,15" alloys, part leather red interior and space saver spare wheel ,on 29 January. Hyundai customer services are telling me mid to late May for delivery!
Anyone know when the next boat is due in at Tilbury?

When I last spoke to CS and gave them my order number. They informed me that they are unable to track your order until it lands in the UK. Is this a pile of tripe has anyone else been told this or is the CS agent being lazy in finding any info out.

Still waiting for my daughters 1.2 Premium in blue. Ordered early Feb, told was being built this month, delivery towards end of May! Believe it when I see it! So takes the gloss off the new car buying experience when car companies can not deliver in a reasonable time :( It will be worth the wait though, fantastic little car :)

Looking at responses on here it looks like delivery times are all over the place.

I was going to order in June for Sept delivery but unsure what to do now and whether to order now or wait. Looks like some could be waiting upto 5 months but if I ordered I don't want the car before new Sept plate. Will have to contact my dealer but they all seem uncertain to me.

I ordered mine February 8th 1.2 Premium Rear Parking Sensors.. Winter Pack and Spare Wheel...White with orange interior.....was originally told May delivery....hoping it aint going to be June after reading this!!!! Not the dealers fault but you have to wonder about Hyundai's planning.....the original i10 was probably one of Hyundai's best selling cars in the uk....launch the car and have no stock available????

I ordered a premium 1.0ltr in sleek silver in March, due to arrive mid May. I got a cracking deal on the Infinity scheme, on a car the showroom had ordered ahead for stock. It will, I am told, come with cruise control, for which i parted with the extra ÂŁ50, and that's it. But to be honest, I wasn't too bothered about the winter pack, as by the time seat warms up, my rear end will be no longer be on it, due to my short daily commute. I would have probably ordered white with orange interior before this deal came to the table, but it was too good to overlook, and the silver/blue combo looks good too, I must say. We'll see if it's on time! As I didn't specify the options, it may be a different case to the sort some of you are experiencing with the delays etc.

everyone waiting call this number Monday between 4pm and 5pm
this is Hyundai customer services

all say the same thing.
that we are a part of a large on-line community that want some form of compensation due to the long wait, or we want to cancel our order's.
that we will be posting our feelings on mass on there Facebook page to show others how much they have failed loyal customers .

what do you think?

i have been told that they have people searching social media sites looking for bad press and work swiftly to quash bad press.

'power to the people'...... showing my age now...lol

Hi there, awaiting a new car which was ordered in January but have been kept in the loop all along. The car was expected mid-May (perhaps a bit sooner but plan for then) and is due to arrive in the UK on the 22nd April being ready for me to collect within 2 weeks. Last month I was told that anyone ordering then would not be allowed any extras until Turkey sorts out the backload. Cannot wait.
Reading this perhaps I can wait better than some ;) :)

I dont think parking sensors should be holding things up.....these I'm lead to believe are fitted at Tilbury.....if not surely the dealers could be fitting them to speed up delivery times....I'm really hoping mine isnt going to be June...and yes they do read these social media sites....I commented on the Hyundai UK facebook page and customer services were straight on to my comments and got my dealer to contact me....not that I needed him too....I needed Hyundai to supply me with my new car....lol.....infairness the dealers dont want un-happy customers nagging them all the time do they...they want to sell the car get our money and move onto the next sale

sensors are factory fitted, they have an indicator on the dash showing distance from object,
just came off the phone from my weekly chat to customers services,
build date 28th April. it takes 2 days to build apparently, and no i cannot upgrade to 15" alloys , even tho the car is not built for another 2 wks.

awaiting

Hi , initially ordered mine on the 25 Jan was told would be about a month wait , was then informed it would be here in May . Thought dealer was quite good at first but they never let me know what is happening would be nice if they dropped me a e-mail every couple of weeks longest I have had to wait for a new car .

ordered my premium 1.0 in diamond black with spare wheel in 28 January. I was told I could collect initially in 27 February, then 6 March, then 29 March, then 9 April now 15 May. Not the happiest of customers especially as my finance on my old car needs paying and im going to be left carless at this rste by hyundai. Awful service I must say. I have no hope of it being delivered before June. I cant make sense my orders are not being processed on date of order. Those ordering after me seem to have their car before me which seems completely ridiculous! Has anyone made any official complaints as of yet?

This is more of a Feedback than a complaint , i have got my new Xcent , and from day one i am facing a Gear Shifting Issue, when informed on the time of delivery i was told that it happens and will go smooth .. but even after 120 kms. its the same, And when again i visited the showroom i was told yes there is an issue .

I have never expected such kind of service from Hyundai and that to from such a nice Showroom .

I need a satisfactory solution on immediate basis .

Well it's here minus the 15". Was in a rush when collecting so there was no debate about what happened to them :( but still looking good.
It's parked up at the moment but I will post some pics later this week.
Some initial observations:
Been used to sports cars and diesels of late so the lack of engine noise is eery (in a good way).
The cruise control was initially a bit confusing as I assumed that the larger button would be for that rather than the speed limiter (jumped in and started to drive:)).
The change up warning kicks in very quickly especially on an open road.
Big car clunk when the doors close.
Bluetooth, a load of fun and it now appears to be playing songs which are not on my phone. My son was matching his up but not sure what is happening there. Easy matching with iPhones and far easier than physically connecting.
Playing about with voice controls - I assumed they were for the phone but appears to be other functions as well.
Still have to check out whether the reversing buzzers work, cornering lights and hill control but not many hills in this part of the world.
Very happy.
