So I’ve spent a couple days now making adjustments to my EWG length and checking voltage with a multimeter to ensure that my EWG voltage is correct... Still getting a p2562 code check engine light.. car is in limp mode. I have also replaced the boost/map sensor. My car also sputters and shakes a bit at idle, and will randomly rev the engine up on its own at idle... Any ideas? I really really dont want to go to a dealership and have them mess it up more and charge me for it...

Sound like somebody not have read the TSB...

4.0 is what they call,, 3.9 minimum

To lower the voltage, shorten length,, then put end back onto lever..

NOW,,, cycle key on,, key off,, key on..... do this (3) times,, then verify voltage value... Adjust again if needed,, repeat the key cycle thing again, check voltage

When I do them,, I have tablet there on top of engine for reference, key cycle, and look at voltage there in current data

I had a similar problem with my 2011 2T some time ago. Tried to make adjustments myself and just could not get it to work. I took it in and to my surprise it was under warranty and it cost me nothing. I do not remember exactly what the problem was, but it seemed to me it was a sensor or a solenoid. In any case it might not hurt to call them.

You should have received an invoice when you got your car back that details your concern, what they found to be the cause of concern, and what they did to remedy the concern..

What does the job line on your invoice state ?

The P2562 is related to the Valve-Solenoid Waste Gate Control (aka EWGA). Check Hyundai technical service bulletin number 22-EM-004H (January 2022). NHTSA link

For 2011-2014 Hyundai Sonata, the part number is 39400-2G700. Original part is available from Amazon, eBay, and other sellers for $195 to $225. Example sellers:
$193 - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BJNSX2O
$198 - Genuine 394002G700 Turbocharger-Solenoid For Hyundai Sonata 2011-2014 | eBay

I had my car serviced at a Hyundai dealer for the P2562 issue. My EWGA had to be replaced because it could not be adjusted. My cost was:
Diagnosis: $185
Part: $347
Labor: $277
------------
Total: $809 (save yourself a lot of money by buying the part and having a mechanic replace it, maybe your total will be under $400)
