Have 2015 i10 showing camshaft sensor fault no.2 as engine light is constantly on. Don’t know which one this is and Hyundai won’t or can’t tell me. Anyone got any ideas. Cheers

With most engines, unless the manufacturer wants to be "different" which Hyundai doesn't do. #1 is driver side #2 is passenger side, when talking about banks. Like fuel injectors the driver side injectors are always bank 1 on v style engines. while passenger is bank 2. Since your car is front wheel drive depending which way the motor is mounted (Engine should be on the right of vehicle) it will be the one (#2) closest to the firewall. They are very easy to access, directly ontop of your valve covers apparently. I would suggest having the car off and then unplugging the rear one. Put it to run and scan for codes. If its the same then turn off and unplug the other one. If you scan and then get a code for #1 circuit (high/low/open) or something similar about the #1 ckp, then you know it is the one nearest the firewall

A Hyundai i10 with a V style engine. I'd love to see that :D

I believe cam sensor #2 is the one on the exhaust cam, and sensor #1 is on the inlet cam. You didn't mention which engine we're working with, but the 1.2 is the most common one I come across in the i10...

If I helped you fix it, why not...

Your support is greatly appreciated
Never said it had a V engine. Though that would be funny.

Yes your picture shows what i described the position of #2 to be :)
