So I just picked up my 2.0T on Friday and I love the car so far. I think the stock stereo pretty much sucks so I'm hoping someone either has the wiring/color diagram for the factory amplifier or can direct me to the specific section on the Hyundai service site where to find it. Thanks!

Thanks for the help gang. I started the install over the last few days. The plan so far consists of:
  • Stock Radio
  • JBL MS-8
  • JBL GTO-608 Components (tweeters in dash, mids in doors)
  • HiFonics BX1205d
  • MTX Thunder 564 Amplifier
  • Tsunami 1/0 AWG through firewall and factory grommet
  • Undecided on subwoofer(s) either 4 JBL GT5-10 or 3 RE SRX 12

Baffles for the mids/tweeters are done and the power cable is about half run. Tomorrow I'd like to get the remainder of the wire ran and possibly fire the MS-8 up.

What specifically are you looking for? The doors and dash are pretty similar to most any car I've worked on to date. I've installed so far:
Alpine PXE-H650
Alpine PDX 4.100
Alpine PDX1.1000
Planet Audio Z-12
Boston Acoustics RC-61 Mids (factory locations)
Boston Acoustics NEO-2r Tweeter (factory locations)

It's still in process and I'm thinking of changing some of the gear. It's designed to be pretty stealthy so there isn't much to see shy of the sub in the trunk.

The speakers are located on the 12 pin plug on the amplifier in the trunk and the subwoofer is located on the 26 pin plug. let us know if you need anything else.

left front speaker +/- orange- blue
left front tweeteter +/- gray/black - orange/black
right front speaker +/- blue/orange - yellow/orange
right front tweeter +/- white/orange - red/orange
left rear speaker +/- pink - green
right rear speaker +/- brown - white
subwoofer 1 +/- green/orange - pink/blk
subwoofer 2 +/-yellow/org - red

Cool. I just ran my own speaker wires for the most part-with the exception of in to the doors because I didn't want to deal with the Molex.

Have Hyundai Sonata 2001 without factory plug for radio. It has 14 wires and not sure what each one is. I have checked the web and can not find my color scheme. I have 2 yellow, orange, light green, green, 2 brown, white, brown/white stripe, white/black stripe, gray. My new radio only has 12 wires and only 2 colors match. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys, I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the Dimension Audio System, I installed an aftermarket screen but audio is gone, I’ve done my research and looks like the amp is not turning on with the new radio/screen, my question is what is the cable I need to connect to give power to the amp, I also bought a device from Amazon is the PAC RPASPDIF and I’ve heard that this device is the solution I haven’t tried yet but If I have another solution for this I would appreciate any advice, Thanks guys.
