Engine Oil disappearing?

2015 sonata se 56k miles. A few weeks ago I checked my oil while detailing the engine bay. I noticed the oil was almost to the bottom of the dipstick. I had to use almost two quarts of oil to fill it up to full. I just check the oil again today and it is under the full mark. I don't see any blue smoke or any oil in the coolant. However, I noticed oil all the way around the valve cover and also on the spark plug threads. What is the cause of this and also the oil loss? My warranty expires June 30th and I'm pretty concerned.

I'd start with a valve cover gasket along with the O rings, but if were loosing that much oil there certainly would be oil under the car all over the undercovers and probably dripping onto the ground. If burning oil, you wouldn't see any blue smoke because of the converter.

The valve cover gasket, O rings would not be covered under the warrant, at least I don't believe it would be as it would be considered normal maintenance. Get those changed and if still high oil consumption, the dealer may do some tests for excessive oil consumption and if found to be excessive, a new engine may be on the horizon.

Thanks for the feedback. There is no oil under the car or in the engine bay, It must be burning. Is it possible that the valve gasket and o rings are causing oil loss? Where would it have gone if it's not visible? I was also thinking maybe the valve seals/pistons. I really don't know what to do because my warranty expires on the 30th. Hyundai extended the engine warranty for 10 more years due to a knock sensor update/recall. Would any of this be covered under that?

I actually have an appointment tomorrow morning for something loose in the front end. I never mentioned the oil loss because I wanted to confirm I'm still losing it. I'll show them the valve cover and mention the excessive oil consumption. Hopefully they will document the problem. The appt reminder email only states, customer says something is loose/shaking in the front end.

It's almost certainly being burned.
One qt of oil leaked makes a big mess.
We don't know how much oil loss in how many miles.
If it's less than 1 qt in 1000 miles you'll have to live with it.
Check your oil at least every other tank of gas.
