A thread on some of the little things (good & strange), for all to share.
NOTE: not intended for factory recall thread (welcome lights) and such as there are plenty of those out there.
These are based on my '16 1.6t Limited model.
- Coat hooks on the pillar behind the driver and passenger seats.
- When wipers are on / delay, and you reverse the rear wiper runs to clear vision.
8" Infotainment Unit, interesting radio tuning:
- When in home screen (split w/ navi) and you press up on steering wheel tuning, it changes to a higher number in the programmed stations, but . . . when in FM/AM screen (or SXM) and you press up, it moves up on screen display but down in number.
- Locking the doors and leaving lights on auto, they will illuminate for 15 seconds when pressing the FOB unlock (when dark out).
- USB port powers up when you open any door, including the rear hatch
- Panoramic Roof: pressing the button up (not fwd or back) is for tilt and the screen only goes back 1/2 way
- Navi: setting your home address in the destinations, the unit will sound a door bell when navi is up and you approach your home.
- HID headlights with DBL (dynamic bending light) do a 'look' up / down / left / right / level when starting the car (when on or auto).
