I cant seem to see what fuse it would be all seem good

From me checking around i am lead to belive the it could be (shunt connector, memory fuse, power connector, joint connector m31)

I am needing help on a similar problem. Hma service website will not allow me to register. It never lets me view the privacy agreement (3 different pc's)
I have a 2002 accent 1.6L auto trans.
It has developed a electrical problem, intermittent chime, radio. clock resets and trip odometer resets. Dome light flickers. also a sqealing noise somewhere near the fusebox inside.(no smoke, no heat from a short anywhere along the wiring)
The voltage on the line varies from 9V-12V(possible faulty regulator somewhere?)However battery and alternator are right on par 12V-15V.
I have checked all fuses, battery cables, accessory battery cables.
I have checked all connections under the dash and cleaned what few appeared dirty or corroded.
Thank you for any assistance, i am stumped at this time.

Precisely where did you measure that?

The symptoms point to the "Room Lamp" fuse/circuit in the engine bay fusebox.

There is an 18 pin plug under the dash which carries that circuit.
The wires should be Orange/Black.

The plug is EM01 in the pic below. Perhaps the plug has corrosion, making the squeal.

I measured the voltage at both the clock power input and radio memory/acc lead. Illumination leads were fine.I also confirmed that it was the fuse labeled audio that i removed, which stopped the noise and killed power to the dome light/radio/clock.

Thank you for pointing this connector out i had checked it once, but did not move it around much. (don't like tugging on such light wire lol) I did discover my problem though.
The wire going into the connector was broken at the point where it was crimped on. as it is dark Here i only did a quick check/quick repair. Plan to do a little more inspection tomorrow.
Again thank you very much :)

Same problem..help!

I pulled fuses as indicated by previous posters, opened door and everything worked! Chime, dome light, etc. Car sat overnight, next day, chime not working, flashing trunk light, etc again :(

Any ideas?

No fuses were blown, just reseated them. Did I reset something and then it went to heck again?

Any help at all would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

This could get tricky as there are complicated controls involved.

But do a few easy checks first:
As before,
Check the Room Lamp fuse in the engine fusebox.
And Fuse #2 in the dash fusebox.
Also check Fuse #2 and #7.

Do you have a multimeter/voltmeter?
If so, connect Neg lead to chassis Ground.
With key ON, touch the Pos meter lead to one side of each of those 4 fuses. (May have to get creative to touch the fuse connection.)
Repeat the tests on the opposite side of each fuse with Neg lead still Grounded.

IOW, check that there is power actually available on both sides of the fuses.

Finally, carefully inspect the Ground points shown in the attached pics for looseness and signs of corrosion.

Well, that's helpful that manipulating the fuses "fixed" it. In the end, you may find a corroded or improperly made connection or splice to the back of the fuse holders. The day will come, I suppose, when you'll have to disassemble the fusebox.

And that beats having to work inside the dash by a mile.

Door chime/door locks/interior lights not working

I have the same problem(s) with my 2006 Accent. Checked fuses, verified wiring with a test light leading into and out of the fuses but no luck. Also no dome light and trip odometer resets each time that ignition is turned on. I have seen that a number of people have complained about the same symptoms. There must be a common issue. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is your 2006 an LC Accent or the later MC Accent?

Regardless of which model you drive the fault is almost certainly going to be caused by the same thing...blown fuse.

If you have an LC Accent look in the engine bay fusebox. You'll see two fuses in a little yellow carrier. Replace both those fuses with new ones and that will probably cure the problem. If you have the later MC Accent the little yellow carrier is on the dashboard fusebox. Same deal, replace both fuses in the carrier and see if that gets your dome light, etc working again.

I have an 08 Santa Fe limited and kinda got sick of my door chime. Needless to say it come off the circuit board. Not so bright. It ended up taking out power locks, windows, the key fob don't work and tail light. The day time running lights only work hence no tail light I guess. Anyway had it hook back up everything way good til it went to the shop and now back to not working. Then I arced out the hot side to the chime now I don't know what to do.
