My dealer just called me, i can go tomorrow to get my new car :)

What am i suppose to be aware on that car ??? (I mean the known problems)

First thing i'll do is check all fluids and pressure, read the whole book and try every plug and things.

I know i need to check if my steering goes to left and if my door makes strange sound, is there anything else???

Sorry again for my English, im French.

Vous parlez Anglais tres bien! When I picked up my vehicle I did a walk around, made the dealer take off all their stupid advertisements on my vehicle, checked under the hood, driving home made sure everything worked and when I got home went through the manual and checked everything out. Most of all, enjoy your new vehicle! I hope you like yours as much as mine. What did you get?

Should give it a walk around, any scratches should be pointed out. (yes it happened to our 2012 Santa Fe)
I drove my car home without giving it a walk around/checking everything. Later found out that the door handle for the drivers back door was never hooked up. Pretty much locked myself in the car.

The walk around the outside of the car and a few other checks are the most important things to do before you leave the dealership. Any paint or trim issues need to be pointed out to the dealer. Look carefully at your rims as well for any signs of scratches or damage. Make sure you inspect the interior (I had a scratched seat back). Then check the normal things for proper operation like door locks, radio, interior buttons for the trunk and gas cap, etc to be sure everything works.

Salesmen usually go over many of the operational features of the car as well. These are all spelled out in the manual but hearing someone explain things many times is helpful. Dealers generally instruct the salesman to pair your cell phones to the radio as well. When you get home read the manual and familiarize yourself with the car. These cars have a lot of features and it takes awhile to digest and understand everything.

If you haven't already closed the purchase, then they'll hit you for add-ons.
Call around to other dealers for the extended warranty if that's something you're interested in. In the Phoenix area it differed by $500.

My sons and I bought ours together. The salesman started his car, then went through all the options and setup the bluetooth. I did the same with just the key on. Some have said that letting the new motor idle for extended periods is not good.
