It's the valve in the engine compartment that goes to the intake. You are guessing it's the problem....found some info on the net?....good luck with that..

Code P0456 very small leak is fixed

Arm with the OBD2 scan code, I made an appointment with the Dealer to bring the car in . I told them the code P0456 so they need to look at Charcoal canister Valve, Purge Control Vale. They found the leak along the seam of Charcoal Canister and they changed for free because the car only 41K miles.

Glad it was still under warranty! Wonder how much they would have charged?
