A couple of people have been asking me for pictures of "Penny" my new Santa Fe Sport in Canyon Copper with Beige interior so here are some pics I took out in the garage tonight. If you need a particular shot please let me know and I'll do what I can to accomodate.

If you want to see the original full size photo then simply append _original between the picture number and .jpg and you'll get the full size photo. For example:

Enjoy!

Yes it has both leather and tech packages along with floor mats and rear cargo screen cover. It has the manual rear sun shades as well, although with the tinted windows I'm not sure how often those will get used unless the kids want to take a nap and the sun is coming in on that side or something...

I can try to capture a picture of those later...

Copper Comparison

I happened to park next to an Infiniti FX35 today that was copper colored. I remember these as being one of the first SUV's to come in copper so I snapped a picture to show the difference between the Infiniti color and the Hyundai color. As you can see the Hyundai color is a bit darker/oranger/colorful than the Infiniti color. This was taken on a cloudy day, but I'm sure the differences would likely be similar on a sunny day as well.

Note the FX driver has one of those little round stick on mirrors on his side view mirror, something I still need to get for the Santa Fe...

Very cool Ken. I did not realize that you had copper. That is the color I want but since we are older (wife is 50, I'm 47) she wants something more subdued and "sophisticated" as she says. She likes the Mineral Gray and we both might like the Cabo Bronze but have not seen one yet. I like the SF copper over the Infiniti copper. I actually think the SF looks richer. Has anyone said anything about your Copper SF as far as color is concerned?

Interesting about the blind spot mirror on the Infiniti. Do they not have a blind spot monitoring system? Also, the Infinit is $$$$ more than the SF.

I'm considering adding some blind spot mirrors myself. I wish there was one designed that more closely matches the upper, outer corner radius. I prefer one too that isn't thick. I want it to look as though it's a factory install and not a slap on. Despite what I've read, the Ford Fusions' integrated mirror looks like it fits and after driving one for a rental car for a couple days, I found it helpful.

KenDude, definitely nice color--- wish they had the saddle interior with the Copper- would that pop or what.
7milesup--we're not that old....yet. I really wanted the bronze too, but kinda leaning towards the copper or mineral gray- definitely a classy color, can be dressed up or down.
Went to the Texas State fair yesterday and still trying to see all the exteriors with interiors that are offered---disappointed they didn't have a saddle interior....
want to get it before vacation road trip end of October.

Yes saddle with copper would be nice, and in fact was offered on the Infiniti. I liked the color of the saddle interior (saw a white santa fe with it) but it wasn't carried to the door panels or dash which I think was a mistake on hyundai's part, of course also a mistake to not offer it with copper but I'm not the person making the color combo choices at Hyundai. :)

Canyon copper and Tech pack

We saw the Canyon copper SF and my wife fell in love with it. I too liked the color but hesitant to go for it thinking the car would look girly. This vehicle is for me, but my wife and 1 yr old twin girls will be travelling with me all the time as this would be the only vehicle for my family for another 3-4 years.

Is it ok to get Canyon copper (orange) color cuv for me being a male? I know with little sport cars this color looks very sporty.

One more question.. about the Tech package. I really don't like to have Navigation system but Panny roof would go a long way with my little girls. People suggesting it would get hotter and too bright inside the car with glass roof. Couldn't decide whether to spend $2700 for the Pan sunroof. Please chip in some suggestions.

I personally think the Canyon Copper color is "classey"...There`s a few buzzing around in my area, and between the sharp body style and color, they always turn heads....Now, that "light green" (I forget the name) that the 2013 Tucson comes in, that`s girly in my opinion.

Got Santa Fe Turbo with Canyon copper 2 weeks back. I love the color but always had the feeling it's bit girly. We saw other colors and they are look normal and nothing different. But with the shape and color it looks very sporty. I showed the color to my family and friends and finally got the Copper. I would highly recommend looking at it on a broad day light. My guess is even if it fades over the period of time this color will look great.

We got the leather and technology package. I have 2 kids and both loved with the pann roof. We like the extra light (you can always close), navigation, Infinity sound system. I would highly recommend paying extra and I am sure your kids will enjoy it.

I do not want to participate in this discussion because this is killing me. If there was one main reason that drew my attention to this vehicle was because of this color that suits its style and to my dismay was not available in Canada, freaking hyundai. Had to settle for red serrano but copper canyon was what I really wanted. Americans are so lucky

Thank you all for the positive feedback. I'm really exited to get the Canyon Copper now. I still haven't able to decide about the Tech package. I'll see how I'll like it when I go for test drive this weekend.

ripperking007 ... it seems you got the vehicle for $31000 + TTL (from your other posts). Did u get the Hyundai owner appreciation rebate or you got all that discount solely from the dealer? I never own a Hyundai vehicle before so want to know what kind of rebates you got.

Thanks again all... you guys made it easy for me to come to a decision.

Not gurly, just bright. Pan-roof has a cover, so heat shouldn't be a problem. You can butch it up with bigger wheels and wider tires, but that's a vanity thing—with the alignment issues for some of us, it could prove problematic.

Dads have to do a lot of things for the women in their lives. ;-) But you'll enjoy having the color CC.

I just got my Canyon Copper w/ Tech on Friday, and I love it!! I ended up with this color by default... it was a color I hadn't considered. We were in a pinch and needed a vehicle quickly due to some unexpected circumstances so we couldn't take the time to wait for a color choice. Plus the current owner rebate was about to expire. My son happily took my 2007 Santa Fe back to school with him! And for what it's worth, I am really enjoying the Navigation! Now to explore the Blue Link!!!

No rebates. I found the vehicle I am looking for at Hyundai inventory page and emailed them through their site. They tried to reach me over the phone, but I communicated through emails and when I reached a price point I stopped by negotiated a little more and picked up the vehicle.

We personally drove BMW X3, X5, AudiQ5 and Lexus and finally ended up with Hyundai :) as it had all the features from these vehicles combined.

I wouldn't say I paid the best price to what other's paid but not bad either.

Good Luck.

That's pretty cool that you drove those higher end vehicles and in the end you bought a Hyundai. I had a competing brand car salesman scoff at me when I told him I was looking at the Santa Fe. I asked him if he had looked at a Hyundai recently. When he said he had not I suggested he might want to go check out the competition.
