Purchased my 11 Sonata SE on 10/13/10, traded in my beloved 07 Accent SE :c( that unfortunately came into heavy contact with a deer. My dealer did not have the accessory mirror in stock and quoted me well over $400.00 for mirror and install.

Has anyone installed this mirror? Is there wiring underneath the sunglass holder? I'd assume there was since this is a dealer add-on accessory. I've installed these before in other cars and have tapped the sunroof wiring to do it, any unforeseen problems with doing that on the Sonata?

Any answers/ advice greatly appreciated. I searched through 10 pages of posts and did a search using: auto dimming mirror home link, still came up empty.

I have an old mirror from my 2002 Grand Prix that I plan to install. It has compass and outside temp. Is there a way to tap into the factory outside temp sensor? I looked on Rock auto to see if I could find a part to compare but found no atmospheric temp sensor and/or connector. Anyone have a part number or additional info? Please let me know. Thanks

I bought a bluelink/autodim/compass/homelink mirror for my 2013 sonata that had just bluelink. I plugged it in and the compass worked after driving it around, but homelink will not program. The owner's manual says to hold buttons 1 and 3 of homelink for 10-20 seconds, and the green light is supposed to flash. It doesn't though, it just stays solid. I also tried the reprogram 1 channel only option (holding that button for 20 seconds) and nothing seems to work. I don't understand what I need to do to make homelink work.

I bought part 3X062-ADU01 off of ebay for $60. It did not come with the hardware kit or extra harness. I can run wires, but I would love to connect it to my sunroof wiring harness. Colors are different and from left to right, black, green, tan, gray. Anyone know how to do this based on these colors and the ADU01 vs 00. It has the compass built in. I can actually see what looks like a temp readout when I look at it in the light.

I would love to get this hooked up and looked to open a new thread, but the site hates me because I'm new and won't let me post in the first 7 days because of some issue with links. I am not sure the issue to be honest as there were no links, but maybe it just means I can't start a new thread in the first 7 days?

I have the mirror ready to go. If someone knows the answer, I would love some help. I will be checking in here or PMs. I can't post my email I guess?

Thanks!

Please update your profile. Easy to do. Click on "CP user" in upper right of screen (on smartphone use PC mode). That will take you to a page where you can click on the "Edit Profile" link on the left side of the screen. You should update the year, model, and engine of your vehicle. Also, please include your general location city/area, state, and country. We have members all over the world. Different countries may have differences in models and laws/regulations. THANKS!!!

All updated. 2012 Hyundai Elantra Ltd / NY, US

This question is more part specific than car as I understand the wiring from other posts. I was hoping to find someone who had worked with this same mirror/color combo on wires so I can try to figure them all out before I start slicing and splicing. I posted in the Elantra forum, but no takers so far. Any help is appreciated!
