Hi guys,
Just replaced the timing chain on my santa fe and for some reason, after all went back together wheels are now locked...front and rear. Because i didn't had the tool to lock the cranckshaft when removed the pulley, I put the car in 1st gear and tried but did't work. Don't know if that has anything to do with my problem but at this point i'm thinking maybe something got jamed in the gearbox... although wheels should spin independently and rear whells should have nothing to do with front unless there's something wrong with 4WD coupling. I've jacked up the car and tried all wheels and all are stuck. They move just a little bit, like you'd have some backlash in a gear assembly so locked hand brake is out of the question. Gearbox shifts nicely through all gears and revers, cluch works well so i,ve got no clue of what's going on. If anyone has any thoughts on this it will be much appreciated. Battery was disconnected so could be something that needs reseting?
