aftermath of replacing left bank spark plus....

I finally decided on replacing the left bank spark plugs. Gapped the plugs @ .041. It runs like crap, backfiring no power at all. check the firing order. Now I copied what the previous was. But I get online and find out it different. So I researched it and tell me if this is correct: 1 to 4 coil pack, 3 to 6 coil pack, 5 to 2 coil pack. After verifying, still the XG runs crappy. Plus it threw out these codes p1191, P1193, p0121, p0123. I'm lost. Can somebody help a brother out.

Which one is the left bank, bank1? the one under the intake plenum?
Tomorrow i'll take a look at the connections.
Tip: the original champion double platinum spark plugs work great.
I recently changed all 6 plugs with pulstars be1i iridium and they are crap.
Did you replace the plenum gasket? take a look at the long term fuel trims to see if there is a vacuum leak (increased, especially at idle) When you change sprk plugs it's a good habit to disconnect the battery to reset the ecu.

P1191 ETS Limp Home Valve On
P1193 ETS Limp Home - Low Rpm
P0121 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
P0123 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor A Circuit High Input

You probably have a misconnection on the throttle body, my 2001 XG300 gives codes like p0121 123 if the connectors on the throttle body are not firmly connected, sometimes i have do disconnect/connenct a few times (?!?)
check that ALL your engine compartment connectors are connected properly then reset codes to see if they reappear.

To make things worse i've found these schematics:

2002 XG350

2003-2005 XG350

My 01 XG300 has the coils and cylinders numbered as the 2003-2005 XG350, the schematic for the 01 XG300 doesn't even have the coils on cylinders 2-4-6... did anyone ever seen that configuration?
I think the schematic for the 2002 XG350 is simply wrong, unless Hyundai is schizophrenic. I mean: 3 different configurations (cylinder/bank numbers, coil/no coil) for practically the same engine!

still trying to figure it out......

Well I searched, and found out that the routing of the wires is correct. But the pigtail from the left side of the intake plenum, when facing the front of the vehicle, there is a sensor. The wire is broken inside the pigtail. There is a sensor that has two pigtails. One has two connector and it mounted on the bottom. And second pigtail is mounted on the top thats a 4 connector pigtail. Can't take a pic or figure out what is the name of the sensor. Got any diagrams of the top of the intake plenum?

Wich cable routing is correct for you, basing on the schematics i've posted? Wich xg is yours?? (year and model) You must post a picture for these sensors indicating the one wich the cable is broken, otherwise it's difficult. i'll post some picture that i've taken when changing spark plugs, it may help. If your engine does not idle and revs up is exactly because of the codes you've got from the throttle body, i think. Mine does the same thing when the cable of the throttle position sensor is disconnected or not connected properly. Other that broken sensor wires you definitely have problems in the throttle body region, connections or else.

Connectorors on the left side of the plenum:

This is the throttle position sensor cable in the throttle body region, the main suspect. Try disconnect/reconnect many times.
