Hi, I'm trying to run some wires from base of A-Pillar to fuse box. I tried to remove the cover and it wasn't coming off easily and thought i might break it so just pulled it away from pillar as much as i could and tucked wires in along the windshield went up over the airbag and down the door jam side of cover. I will probably leave as is but 1. Does anyone know how to remove the trim piece without damaging? And 2. Feedback on whether running up, over and down cover will interfere with airbag deployment? I'm guessing not. Thanks, Ed

Hello! So I do not have experience with the Tucson yet, but when I did some wiring for my CR-V, I ran a wire where you did and did not hamper my airbags deployment. I think the force is great enough to break the thin wires where need be. If you used a higher Guage wire, it might be different, but in my experience if the wire is small and weak enough it shouldn't hamper airbag deployment.
