Literally just drove this car back home yesterday, drive was amazing but today tried to install a baby seat and noticed there was a bunch of plastic on the baby anchors. And upon closer inspection beneath the seatbelt and even visible on the rear seat...

How do I remove the rear seat base? Should I get the dealership to remove this for me? If it's easy enough to remove the rear seats I'll just do it myself.

Looked in this forum / looked on youtube but didn't see anything specific to the 2024 model and don't want to mess up my new car.

Thanks for any help!

Take it back and ask them to finish their PDI by removing the plastic wrappers they fail to remove during PDI and retail delivery prep

Check all the interior panels for thin barely visible squares of plastic film, same under hood, positive batery cable end box, air box,

Apparently, this maybe a common issue with Hyundai dealership new car delivery. My car had the same issues... plastic all over the recesses around the rear seat, thin plastic protection film all over dash, console and radio. Decided not to take it back to dealer and give them an opportunity to give me a reason to come back. Just did it myself as I kept finding them.... 😉

Not a fan of dealership service departments. My experience, even on simple maintenance and/or warranty from what should be more simplistic ICE manaufacturers like Ford, GM, Chrysler and Jeep, left me with more issues than what I came in with from lackadaisical (so called "professional") mechanics. Has to be near catastrophic or beyond my mechanical knowledge and skill before I partake of their services and or even free maintenance. But as always.. to each their own.
