Just picked her up a couple weeks ago but haven't got around to posting any pictures. Guess I also figure everyone here has one and everyone has seen this color so kind of pointless but oh well. I love the Hampton Grey with the light grey interior. I used Colourlock Leather Shield on all the light colored pieces inside and will be coating the exterior with CarPro Cquartz UK 3.0 topped with Gyeon Q2 Wax every 3 months. You simply cannot get all of these features on any other car right now for this price point. I am loving it so far.

Great color, it would be my pick if I was in the market for a new one.

Do you mind sharing if you paid a "market adjustment" or "dealer markup" ? Out here in northern LA County if you can find a new car on the lot they are adding 20% or more above sticker. One of the people in my club got a new "Sprinter van" MSRP window sticker was
$ 65,200 with a markup of $ 10,000 = total $75,200. Ive been calling some of the KIA dealers about the EV6 and Hyundai about Elantra N they are asking for $6,000 + above sticker if you put a deposit on soon to be delivered cars. None on the lot at this time

To the OP, nice car and I really like that color combo. Good luck with it!

Agreed, these market adjustments look like they will stick around for awhile. There are some dealers who won't charge them, one place to look is markups.org, a crowd sourced site that tracks mark ups on cars, all based on users providing feedback. The few dealers I looked at in the Boston area a month ago had $10k on Ioniq 5 and EV6 models. If you were looking at the highest trim GT-Line AWD EV6, at least one had a $20k mark up. I get that as a business they can do that but it does seem ridiculous. I could almost see a small amount over MSRP as being ok if you live in a high gasoline cost state and have access to cheap electricity but here in MA we have expensive electricity, making the payback even worse, there is even less incentive to go full EV over a hybrid, assuming you can find one you like.

Thanks everyone. Yeah this color was my first choice. It took me forever to find this exact combo. I actually found this one on the dealers site and it was marked as "In Transit" so I called them up and asked them if I could put a deposit down on it so no one else could buy it. They agreed and we agreed on the final price which was MSRP. Usually I would try for less than MSRP but in these times I'm honestly pretty lucky that I got it without a markup like you two are mentioning. I really hope those dealers that are doing that get reprimanded by the manufacturers because honestly that should be illegal IMHO. I know Ford was doing something along those lines like if a dealer is marking it up they won't send them anymore cars. I can totally get behind that.

In these times MSRP window sticker is a great deal.

Enjoy the car!

Great color. Hampton Grey was definitely my first choice, but I found my Stormy Sea used for a great price. This will have to be my last dark colored car for sure, can't keep the stupid thing clean lol. And I agree you can't find these features for the money. I had owned 2 Sonata SE's with features I was content with before my Limited. But after owning my Limited I just can't go without the 360 camera and the heads up display haha. I was thinking about an Ioniq Hybrid for my work commute, but after I installed my intake and BOV I don't want to stop driving the Sonata. They are truly great cars.
