2012 Elentra Touring GLS Exterior lighting.

I have a low mileage 2012 Touring GLS, and I can't quite figure out the lighting behavior.
On the rear, each side has three 1157 dual filament bulbs (tail/brake), two single filament amber turn signals, and two push style backup lights.
All the bulbs have been replaced with new bulbs.

When the parking lights or head lights are on, only the upper two positions tail/brake lamps illuminate, the lowest position does not, on either side.
When the brake is applied, only the lowest position brake light illuminates on each side, plus the high mount center.
The turn signals and backup lights behave as expected.

Is this normal tail/brake light behavior? I expected all three positions to illuminate for both uses since all three are two filament bulbs.
Note: The behavior is matched, left to right.

The problem is somewhat reflected in the front parking lamps / turn signals. The turn signals work fine, but the parking light never illuminate.
I also replaced those bulbs, but I tested the old bulbs, and the parking light filament was fine in each. It will not illuminate, regardless of the position of the headlamp control.

Is this a common problem in the Touring GLS?

If any of you own a 2012 Touring GLS, could you let me know how your rear taillight stack behaves?

Thanks to all, I am befuddled by the behavior.

Okay, I figured it out. It is a used car. I got my hands on the owners manual. The lights are working exactly as they should. I think it is odd that they have a stack of three dual filament bulbs on the rear, left and right, and the top two in each stack are purely used as tail lights and the bottom one in each stack is purely used for brake lights.

They make single filament bulbs for each of those purposes. Oh well, Hyundai be Hyundai.

Same with the front signals. Dual filament, but the parking light function is overridden by the "position lights" in the head light.
