Hi all, briefly scrolled through some posts but I havent seen this issue yet. My 2012 elantra has had this problem twice now. There is an in dash light that randomly comes on. Ive heard of this light being called the "slip indicator" or the positive control indicator. Its the pic of the rear of the car with wavy tire tracks behind it. The first time it happened was 2 months ago and it went of within 15 minutes of driving. This time, it has been on all day I just went out and started the car and its still there. Just wondering if anyone has had this issue. Im sure its going to go off again before I can get it to the dealer so they can check it out, so I havent bothered calling them!
Just a little more info, I am aware there is a "positive traction" button near the ECO button and I do always keep this on. The light in question is not the same light that comes on when you turn THAT button off...THIS light (the one in question) appears just to the left of the other.
Thanks for any info anyone has. Sorry for my complete lack of car knowledge lol!
