Friends,
I just returned from the dealership after taking my 2007 Santa Fe in. The shifter would not shift into park, when it was in park it would not shift out of park, the shifter was a bit sluggish like it was stuck in glue.
The diagnosis was "replace shift cable". The actual parts that were replaced were "cable assy-atm lever (46790-0W100)" and "switch-inhibitor (42700-39055)". The service tech said it was an 8-9 hour job. Ended up costing $1068.
Does that sound about right?
Thanks,
Jeremy
