Wiper fuse keeps blowing

Fuse for the windshield wipers keeps blowing. It went out once, I replaced the fuse and the next time the wipers were used they went out after a few minutes.

I have a nice Fluke multimeter I inherited, but I know next to nothing about using it or testing electrical stuff. Hoping someone can give me a little walkthrough on what to check.

Figured the first thing I should do is check the motor and maybe open it up and regrease it if possible. Also, check the ground on the motor.

Any advice is appreciated.

I'd suggest to disconnect the linkage from motor to the wipers and try to identify the faulty part. Blowing fuse basically means that the wiper motor draws too much current.
So when disconnected, move the wipers by hand to see if they are meachanically ok. Then operate the wiper motor, see, listen & feel if it makes noises, gets hot. If so you may try to open it, clean and lube it. Or replace ...

The linkage is a bit squeaky. I took it and the attached motor out and greased the linkage really well. Turned on the wipers to test it and get the grease moving. I worked for about 10 seconds then blew the fuse. Put in another fuse and it blew immediately, the motor didn't even turn.

Put my multimeter into ohm mode and tested the motor. Acording to directions I found on Yahoo Answers, I should get nothing but 0.00 when I touch one lead to the positive on the motor, and the other lead to the motor housing. Anything above 0.00 is bad. I wasn't sure which wire was which, and my Haynes manual had the wire colors completely wrong, so I tested them all. They all gave a reading above 0.00.

So I guess I just need to get a new motor.
