Are you talking about the smoke-colored front air deflector on the nose of the hood? If so, I do recall someone on here in the past several years having one on his white 2011 or 2012 Elantra. You might try a search on this forum.

 

I recently got one of the smoked plastic hood deflector bug shield. Looks really good on gray. Somebody does have one on white here, can't remember who.

 

May I ask where you got it from?

If it looked good on my burgundy Santa Fe, it will look awesome on your white Elantra. For $120 just do it.

Only downside is that they catch leaves in autumn, and ice in winter. But they'll probably save you a bunch of stone chips in the process.

I think I might do the unthinkable. 3M film with a hood deflector on TOP of that. The ultimate protection for the ultimate price.

 

I'm curious of whether people prefer the hood protector (bug shield) or would you go full leather bra (colgan bra)?

 

Personally, I would select the bug shield. Not too crazy about having a section of vinyl stretched over my hood. When it rains, it gets wet underneath. then it lays on top of my hood like that for heaven knows how long before it dries out.

But that's just me.

I have a white Sonata with a black hood protector. I'd never use the "bra" as I've seen ones taken off the car with a lot of scratches left behind. This is an OEM one for the 06.....last one left in the country. My first one was broken in an accident and the body shop told me their was not another out there to be found. Challenge accepted. I called Gary Rome Hyundai, their parts guy gave me a few places to check around the country and guess what? I found this one in Texas at a Hyundai dealer and it was on their display shelf. They packed it up and the rest is...how do we say....history. Gary Rome rocks for parts!

My opinion, it looks the best on white

It only comes in 'Smoke" (dark dark gray)

The older Elantra Models used to come in Dark Bronze (well at least in Canada )
