Hey I noticed that on the dash there is a display of e/t, was wondering if somebody can tell me what this is?

It is designed to measure the time of a trip. Let's say you were going to your Aunt's house and you wanted to know how long it took you. You would reset the E/T when you put the car in Drive and look at it when you arrived at your Aunt's home. Then you would know how long it took you. The Hyundai engineer's thought you would find this useful to have.
I actually note the E/T between oil changes. The maintenance schedule for industrial equipment is often based on hours of use.
