Does anyone have experience with both weathertech and the OEM all season floor mats?

Retail on the OEM are $309 and the weathertech are $180. Pros and cons to both?

Yes. I have had both and the Weathertec fits better and easy to clean. I'm sure other forum members will say other brands are better but have had 10 or more years using W.T. Never had a problem.
On the rear cargo area I like Hyundais mat better only because it's carpet on one side and a rubber type material on the other side
W.T. is also a U.S.A made product.

I prefer Smart Liners over WT because WT uses a harder material that is a bit "slippery". The Smart Liners have a bit more of a grippy surface. WT liners I have had have been excellent liners, durable, easy to clean, and fit well. I don't think you can go wrong with either and both have a price point significantly below the OEM product.

Weathertech makes the OEM mats for Hyundai. When they first came out for the 2021 the Hyundai Store was advertising them as Hyundai factory mats by Weathertech so no difference in quality, just more money. All floor mats when used long enough will begin to look somewhat less lustrous. Edges will not fold any sooner. I have had Weathertech, Huskyliner and Smartliner all have fit well and I have not seen one wear out any sooner than the other.

I was very disappointed w/ the WT I had previously. They didn't wear out but they wouldn't come clean anymore either. The glue on the WT logo actually became soft and it came off.

I can't comment on Hyundai mats but the Honda OEM ones we purchased for our Odyssey 4 years ago are holding up great.

I would say that I will use aftermarket for rear liner. I don't like that mat that Hyundai provided.

I've used both WeatherTech and Tuxmats. Both are great products. Currently I'm using the Tuxmats on our 22 SF, but they were very difficult to get installed onto the carpet clips, so I don't see myself removing them as often when vacuuming. But as mentioned prior, they have excellent coverage (better than WT) so hopefully less dirt is getting underneath.

Isn't everything so far? I didn't see on the Tuxmat site where they were made in China. I may have to look under mine and see. Don't they say
The Tuxmats are made out of a textured, padded, flexible, vinyl/plastic. They are stitched along the edges and have a very nice feel, not like any other mat I've tried. Here's a pic of the back mat (my fronts were too dirty to show lol).
The reason the wife likes them (WAF, Wife Acceptance Factor). I have to factor in the WAF in most every decision including the interior color of my Cali. !!!

I've got the Smartliner and really like them. A friend of mine has the WT in his Forerunner and they're very comparable but the Smartliner are cheaper. I do think the texture is a bit nicer on the Smartliner, not as slippery.

They all start to look really bad when they get soiled. There are products you can buy that will get them back to that true shiny black you loved when you took them out of the cardboard box on the first day. A bit of Wizards Tire and Wheel will get things pretty much back to new condition. My top recommendation though would be CarPro PERL. PERL is like magic for restoring the blackness to black plastic or rubber (or engine or leather - thus the name P E R L). Clean the floor liners first (soap and sponge), dry, apply PERL, and you will not believe how new and fresh they look.Take note that just cleaning a floorliner will in no way get them back to black; they will still look terrible though less filthy. Must clean and dry first and then condition with a product like Wizard's or PERL (or other similar product).

I've had WeatherTech mats in several of my vehicles. I just put some in my pickup and in my Palisade. The ones for the pickup fit OK, not great, are not very sturdy (at least in feel). The rear mats are folding up at the edges making me have to make sure they don't catch the bottom of the door when I close it. The passenger side front mat slides around even with the spikey plates attached to it. The OEM ones that came with the pick up basically are the same mats as the WeatherTech, but fit better and are more sturdy. The ones for the Palisade fit well and seem better made. Not sure what the difference would be. I probably wouldn't get WT again based on this past experience (both sets ordered within a month of each other), especially at WT's price point. I can't say I've been impressed by any other products that I have purchased from WeatherTech though, especially the seat covers I bought for the rear buckets of the Palisade.
