Has anyone had the "Vehicle check in progress" message come up on the radio display? Mine now does it after the CEL came on. I also get emails from bluelink every time I start the car. The email says they received an automated DTC, however the CEL does not come on. CEL was for a check sum error in the ecu. CEL went off before I could get it to the dealership, so the say they can't do anything about it. They also said they did an update to take care of the vehicle check, but it still happens every time I start the car. No more emails though. I didn't ask what the update was, I should have. I think they were bullshitting me. Just wonder if anyone else has run into any of these issues.

I have never heard of this. Do you have navigation in yours? Is that where the message is being displayed? I was recently getting random blue link emails that my sos button was being pressed when it was but that was all I have had going on.

Take it to dealer and have them hook up GDS and do fault code scan of all the modules..

Until something done, Bluelink will see code(s) and keep contacting until repaired and Bluelink called and told that systems repaired.

My Sonata does the same thing every time I start my car. After about 30 secs, I get the response sending diagnostic data failed.

I have had my dealership look at it three times, still no luck. I have also called Bluelink twice; my response is they will send me an email if a few days. It has been five weeks since the first call, and three weeks since the second call. Still no email or phone call back from Bluelink.

I do not have navigation from an earlier question.

Mine has done it once, after a phanton TPMS indicator light situation that blinked, went steady on, then blinked, then finally went off, then the "Vehicle CHeck in Progress" message came up, stayed there the rest of my commute (approx 20-25 mins), finally had to shut the car off, but it never came up again. Took it to the dealer a couple days later, lot's of head scratching, no codes to clear, so they "adjusted" my air pressure! The TPMS situation has happened twice since then, but no more messages, so far!

BTW, 2012 SE 2.0T, NAV, Build Date 12/6/11

I own a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. I took my car to the dealership for a coolant leak repair, then when I got the car back back I noticed that the same mssg came up on the radio screen. I thought it will go away after driving the car for a while but it didn’t. The sane mssg come up every time I start the car. It’s been about 2 months since started doing it. I don’t know what is going on.

July 25, 2024 : that message appeared for the first time today in my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe. The message comes on each time the car starts today, and stays on for a minute or so and then the radio display comes on as normal. Had car in dealership last Friday, so I phoned them and the service tech said he had "never heard of this issue before".

The VEHICLE CHECK IN PROGRESS message came on my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe today for the first time. It had been at the dealership last week. I just called them, they said they had never heard of this issue. Any help out there?

I have a 2013 santa fe sport and the vehicle Check in progress came on the radio screen starting Friday July 19th. Coincidentally the same day of the Microsoft computer upgrade that shut down airline and major business's. I had to take the car in for service anyway, so asked about this message that I have never seen before. They were not forsure, but said they think ot has something to do with the vehicle no longer communicating with blue link. It's been disabled since around 2022, the 2G is no longer supported. They are looking for a fix to stop the message from recurring
